Fairy Tail Episode 284 Name: Memoirs
In the previous episode of FairyTail, we saw Fairy Tail members defeated Avatar black magic cult and Natsu beaten a battle God called Ikasatsunagi.
Summary of the Episode:
Fairy Tail episode 284 starts with the flashbacks memory of Zeref when he was just a student at MILDIAN Academy of Magic. He wrote a dissertation on magic pertaining to life and death. But his professors forbids him to research on the matter because it would anger the god of life and death Ankhselam. But Zeref didn’t stop as he was obsessed with the research of life and death since his brother died really young and he couldn’t make sense of how could someone so young can die.
Zeref cursed with the curse of Ankhselam
After some years later, Zeref presented a hypothesis on a Revive System magical framework to bring back dead people to life. Everyone was astonished at his prodigy but his Professors wasn’t happy with his forbidden research and warn him again not to research on that matter. Zeref disregard his Professors and continue his research on Revive System and Eclipse project ( time machine). Then his Professor again told him to cease work on Eclipse Project too. But his continued to work, so he was expelled from the Academy by his Professor.
When he heard that he is expelled, his head started to burst in pain. Then Suddenly his body started to emit black flame and his Professor understands that he was cursed with the Curse of Contradiction otherwise known as the curse of Ankhselam. When he emits the magic from his body, all the teachers and the students of the academy died. The curse is that the more he cares for life, the more everything around him dies. Because of the curse, he also became ageless and immortal.
Because of taking so many lives, he was really tormented by the guilt and also feels disgusted with himself for feeling pleased that he could study to his heart’s delight for all eternity.
Zeref reviving Natsu as E.N.D
After wandering through the maze of time through the years, Zeref finally decided that he wants to die. So he began working with the most taboo topic of all magic, the magic of creating life itself. He created demons that would later be known as Demons of the Book of Zeref. But at the time, Zeref called them the “Etherious, ” because they were made of Ether, the building blocks of magic. He made them very powerful to be able to kill him but ultimately they were unable to kill him. Eventually, he decided to produce his ultimate creation with his dead brother Natsu whose body he kept preserved all these years. Finally, he created E.N.D aka “Etherious Natsu Dragneel”. With that, he fulfilled both of his goals of creating the ultimate Etherious and the resurrection of his brother.
Acnologia and Zeref talking where Zeref announces his decision to fight with both human and Acnologia
After the flashback of Zeref, In current time Zeref go to a cave to meet with Acnologia. After meeting Acnologia in his human form, Zeref asks him that why does he hardly partake in any destructive activity as he seeks destruction. Zeref also tells Acnologia that he has the power to conquer the world but he didn’t do it. That’s why Zeref doesn’t understand Acnologia’s principles and motivations behind his actions of past and present. Acnologia then tells Zeref that he could say the same thing about him.
Zeref then explains that he remained in the sideline because he couldn’t decide on his mission and actions. But now he decided to wipe out both human and Acnologia. Then Zeref announces the final battle between a dragon (Acnologia), an immortal, and a human as he reaches his unwavering conclusion towards the world.
Everyone from Fairy Tail returns after one year to rejoin the guild
In eastern Fiore lies the city of Magnolia which was once home to the Fairy Tail wizard guild. Lucy Natsu Wendy and others are in Magnolia to re-establish Fairy Tail. After the fight with Avatar, everyone once again went their own way and decided to meet in Magnolia again too join the guild together. Erza went to inform Jellal about Fairy Tail and Avatar. Gajeel and Levy went to resign from the council.

Lucy anxiously thinks that about the guild members and wishes everybody will come and rejoins Fairy Tail. Then suddenly Cana came and hugged her. Lucy became very emotional after seeing Cana. Cana and Lucy talk about how Master disbanded the guild and she goes on a journey to find Gildarts on the way to the Guild house. Besides the Guild Hall, most of the old members of Fairy Tail is present and says hello to Lucy Wendy and Natsu. By seeing and hearing all about they’re past years experience and struggle, Lucy cries a lot of happiness in Mirajane’s shoulder. In the meantime, Natsu finds the old guild Flag and wave it to start the re-establishment of the guild…..
