Goblin Slayer Episode 3 gets underway by a High Elf entering the guild building. The High Elf is searching for Goblin Slayer with a Dwarf and a Lizardmen. The High Elf, Dwarf and the Lizardmen all are Silver ranked adventurer. They asked the front desk girl (Uketsuke-jou) about Goblin Slayer. They want to have a discussion about a mission with goblin slayer.
While they were talking with the Front Desk Girl, Goblin Slayer enters the guild with the Priestess. Then the High Elf approaches him and asks him to have a talk with them. Goblin Slayer tells the Priestess to rest and follow them into a room.
After Goblin Slayer leaves, Priestess is being asked by two young adventurers to join them but she rejects. Then they complained that Goblin Slayer uses newbies as a bait to lure goblin out but priestess protest against their claim. Then the Majo (Witch) intervened and told the adventurer to stop talking nonsense.

The Majo then start discussing Goblin Slayer with the Priestess. She suggested that Goblin Slayer is hard to work with. She once did a favor to Goblin Slayer by reading a scroll. Priestess then tell Majo that she only cause trouble for him during the goblin killing mission.
The Majo assures the Priestess that he is a good adventurer and better than other unskilled adventurers. But she also complains about Goblin Slayer only taking goblins extermination missions instead of helping other to kill other types of monsters. She tells the Priestess that if she wanted to help people she can help by joining those two rookie adventurers. But if she is going to follow him she should make her mind.
In the conference room, High Elf first asks Goblin Slayer if he is really silver rank. He confirmed. Then the High Elf tell him about the resurrection of Demon King. She also explained that Demon King is gathering monster to take over the world. She asked him to join them. But he refused by saying, he only takes goblin hunting mission. The High Elf gets angry and tells him that the world is at stake. But Goblin Slayer says, before the world gets destroyed the goblin will destroy the village. He tells her that the world being is in danger isn’t an excuse to let the goblin live.

Lizardmen and Dwarf calms High Elf and tells Goblin Slayer that their original request is about goblin extermination. They tell him about Lizardmen, Elder Elves, Kings of Human and Dwarf are holding a meeting and they hired them as representative. Then they tell him that goblin has become active in Elven Lands. Then Goblin Slayer asks if is there any Champion or Lord emerged among goblins. They are surprised by hearing about that. So, Goblin Slayer explained to them that Champions are Goblin King or Heroes. Goblin King’s power level is same as Platinum class adventurer. After explaining, he asks them if they had any map. They gave him a map. He observes it and asks is it ancient Ruin. They replied, yes.
As soon as he gets the map he tells them he is accepting the mission and going to the ruins immediately. They should decide how much they want to pay and make the payment to Uketsuke-jou.
On the way out, Priestess insisted on going with him. At first, he denied but then tells her if she wants she can come.

After that we see, Goblin Slayer, Priestess, High Elf, Lizardmen, Dwarf all sitting across a campfire while eating. After a while later, the High Elf share a travel sweet with all of them. Then the Dwarf share their specialty, Fire Sake. They all had a little sake. The High Elf gets drunk and ask Goblin Slayer to share something too. Goblin Slayer shares some Cheese with them. The High Elf notices some magical scroll on the holster of Goblin Slayer. She wanted to open them but goblin Slayer Denied.

The next day, we see them near the ruins where goblins are hiding. The High Elf kills the goblin guard and the dog with one shot of her arrow. Then they run towards the cave ……………
