Golden Kamuy Episode 15 episode started by Hijikata, Ogata and Kano Ieanaga searching for the fake skin persons secret. They are inside Edogai Yasaku’s house searching for the clue about the fake skin persons. That’s when from outside, some soldiers throw a flame bomb into the house. Because of that, the house is engulfed in flames. But there are soldiers outside, so they can’t leave. Ieanaga Kano tried to leave but Ogata stopped her by saying that she will be shot by them if she leaves. The soldiers lead by Nikaidou Kouhei is there to destroy the evidence of fake skins.
Nikaidou Kouhei is directing the soldiers and telling them not to kill Sugimoto Saichi because he wants to kill him. By seeing Lt. Tsurumi’s men, Hijikata realize that Sergeant Tsukishima made it alive from the tunnel from the previous incident. Then Ogata tells Hijikata that every window has bars in them. If the soldiers want to enter the house they have to enter by the main door. Then Ogata runs to the second floor, broke a window glass and started shooting at the soldiers.

Nikaidou sees him and tells his soldiers to be careful of Ogata. Then Nikaidou and his soldiers run toward the sunshade in front of the main door. Then Hijikata started shooting at the door. They hid beside the door for saving themselves from the bullet. When the shooting stops, Nikaidou and another soldier enter the house. The soldier goes to the second floor and Nikaidou started fighting with Hijikata. In the second floor, Ogata stabs the soldier but he hit Ogata with guns stock of the rifle. Meanwhile, Ushiyama Tatsuma came with Sugimoto and Asirpa and save Ieanaga by breaking the windows bar. Then Sugimoto enters the house, runs to the second floor and save Ogata by killing the soldier.
In the first-floor Nikaidou fight with Hijikata using their sword. When Sugimoto called Hijikata, Nikaidou loses his cool and run toward him. By using that opportunity, Hijikata cuts a leg off from Nikaidou. He saved himself by dragging himself to a side where Hijikata couldn’t see him. Then they escape from the house to the forest in front of the house. After that, we see Nikaidou burning in the fire and screaming.

In the forest, Asirpa sees some Woodcock Birds and she wanted to catch them to eat their brains. Ogata wanted to shoot them but Asirpa said he can’t. She laid some traps and catch only two birds. Then Ogata came and show three birds he killed by shooting at Asirpa. Then Asirpa gave some bird brain to Sugimoto and Ushiyama. Ushiyama hesitated a little and tried the brain. After that, they cook the bird in Nabe and ate them.
Meanwhile, in Barato, Inkarmat and Tanigaki Nispa asking a man in Yamamoto Barbershop about three men came with an Ainu Child. That’s when the man points to a child. The child is named Cikapasi from Kotan. Cikapasi wanted to travel with them because he has no family in Kotan. Inkarmat suggested that it would be better if they act like family. They Tanigaki Nispa and Cikapasi agree with that.
Sugimoto Saving Ogata by hitting the soldier with rifles stock
In the forest at night, Hijikata and Shinpachi talk about the warden of Abashiri Prison Inudou Shirosuke. Hijikata and the warden had a little history in Kabato prison. In Tsukigata Kabato Prison Hijakata was an inmate and Shinpachi Nagakura was a swordsmanship instructor. One day he saw Hijikata and got surprised because he never saw Hijikata despite being here teaching swordsmanship for 20 years. Then he goes to the warden Inudou’s room and complained about that. The warden then tells him that he didn’t feel the need to tell him.
And when he will go to Abashri, he will take Hijikata with him. Then Shinpachi gets angry with him and the warden tells his soldier to throw him out. Outside, the Chief guard lets Shinpachi talk with Hijikata for 10 minutes because of their relationship. Shinpachi and Hijikata talk about them and Shinsengumi a little about themselves.

In the meantime, Sugimoto suspects he has seen Hijikata from somewhere else. Elsewhere in Otaru, LT. Tsurumi tells his soldiers that he doesn’t care if they know about fake skin. He only wants Chaos. As long as he could get the real one he doesn’t care.
At the house, Shinpachi and Ieanaga taking about the fake skin. They still now way to tell difference between fake and real skins. But as long as they could not find that they have to depend on the Shiraishi Yoshitake a prison escape artist. At night Shiraishi dream about Sugimoto because he once betrayed him. Then he tried to fled the house and accidentally came in front of soldiers looking for him……
