Episode Name: “incarnation: Awakened Child”
In the previous episode of Toky Ghoul:re, we saw Touka gets pregnant and Tsukiyama arranged a marriage ceremony for them.
Summary of the Episode: In this episode, we see that Kaneki and Touka are walking happily across their ghoul companion while they address Kaneki as King. They all are happily enjoying their life there. But suddenly Tooru and his new Quinx Squad Oggai started to attack them. Then Kaneki asks Touka to escape with the children in the group.
In the meantime, in CCG headquarters, Urie and Iwao Kuroiwa heading to the room of the CCG director. They enter the room of CCG director to asks Nimura Furuta some questions about his recent action. While they are trying to interrogate Furuta, Roma and Shikorae suddenly started attacking them from behind of Furuta. Urie activates his Kagune and Iwao takes a sword from the big CCG emblem from the wall.

Meanwhile, in 20th Ward, Oggai members are killing every ghoul in their sight mercilessly. But the members of GOAT are trying to save them. Naki and other members of White Suits try to clear children and women from there by incapacitating members of Oggai. Shuu Tsukiyama, Nishiki Nishio and Yomo Renji are fighting with the member of Suzuya Squad while Squad 0 members are fighting with Koori Ui. Another Oggai member is attacking Hinami Fueguchi but Touka came and save her. She told her to escape from there with the children. That’s when Tooru Mutsuki came and start attacking her.
Simultaneously in CCG headquarters, Urie and Iwao fighting with Roma and Shikorae. Urie hit Roma with his Kagune and she flew and hit the wall really hard. Meanwhile, Iwao hit Shikorae with the sword in his face but he fought back and hit Iwao’s prosthetic hand. Because of the hit in Iwao’s hand, his hand and Sword gets separated from him but he quickly goes behind Shikorae and chokes him very hard. Because of that Shikorae lost consiousness. While Iwao is busy fighting Shikorae, Urie is fighting Roma where he escape her deceptive move to stab him by her front Kagune. He then stabs Roma’s face and go towards Nimura with Iwao to talk and capture him.
While they are trying to talk and capture Nimura, suddenly Roma attacks Urie with her Kagune and severely injure him. She transformed it to her Dodgy Mother Ghoul form ( SSS rate) before injuring Urie. Even with all that adversity Iwao Kuroiwa didn’t leave Urie and continue fighting with Roma. Roma’s weird giant Kagune monster punched Iwao twice her hardly which causes him to lose his consciousness for a while. When she is going to deal him the final flow, Urie stands up and forcefully activate his Kagune. After activating his Kagune, he jumps towards Roma and cuts her giant Kagune monster’s hand which saves Iwao. But Roma punches him hard with her giant Kagune and then swallows him whole. In the meantime, Shikorae regained his consciousness and Roma pulls Iwao up and tells Nimura to prepare for lunch. But suddenly Urie cuts open the giant Kagune monster’s belly and jumps high in the air.

Meantime in the 20th Ward, Kaneki is fighting with the masked members of Oggai. Kaneki defeated them all but they stand up again to fight him. They activate their Kagune which looks like Kaneki’s Kagune and they have the same healing ability as him. Then Kaneki understands they are like him who are born from Professor Kanou’s experiment. While the Oggai members are once again preparing to attack him, Juuzou arrives wearing a full body armored quinque to kill Kaneki. The power of Juuzou’s new quinque is speed and superhuman power. Juuzou fiercely attacks Kaneki but Kaneki ducks most of them. Then Juuzou hit him hard and Kaneki flew away through the rubble. But he instantly recovers and attacks Juuzou. Juuzou also attacks at the same time and both of them cut a little on each other’s face.
At the same time, Take Hirako and Squad 0 is fighting to take down Koori Ui. While they are fighting, Ui asks Take why Arima asks them to protect Kaneki. Take answers to him that because he will always fight for him no matter what the situation is. In the meantime, Nishiki, Tsukiyama and Yomo fought with Suzuya squad and won but they didn’t kill them. Nakarai Keijin of Suzuya Squad asks Tsukiyama why isn’t they are killing him. Tsukiyama says it’s because of the King’s principles.
Touka is still fighting with Tooru. They are attacking each other with their Kagune. Tooru then kicks Touka which causes her to hit a rubble Boulder really hard. Then Tooru throws both of her knife like Quinque at Touka which injures her shoulder.
Kaneki vs Juuzou
Meanwhile, in CCG headquarters, Urie is fighting with Roma and Shikorae to save Iwao and himself. Roma and Shikorae continuously and collectively attack Urie. When they are about to hit him with their Kagune suddenly an explosion occurs. Then from the smoke of the explosion, Urie appears with his newly formed shield from his Kagune. Then he attacks both Roma and Shikorae at once with his new Kagune. At first, he kills Shikorae and then he beheaded Roma. After beheading her, he stabs her head to finally put her to rest.
Then Urie goes to Iwao Kuroiwa. When he lifts him in his hand, Iwao says sorry to Urie because he couldn’t save his father. Urie says he actually blames himself because he couldn’t do anything himself since he was too young then. While they were bonding, Nimura stabs Iwao in the neck. When he was about to slash Urie with the sword Quinque, Marude Itsuki comes through the door and shoot Nimura middle of the head. With Marude another person with a mask enters the room who introduces himself as Hideyoshi Nagachika and asks for Urie’s help.
Kaneki subconscious mind talking with himself
Meanwhile in 20th Ward, Kaneki and Juuzou are still fighting and they both are equally injured. While fighting Kaneki notices Touka is injured and surrounded by members of Oggai. When Kaneki’s attention turned to Touka, Juuzou attacked him and injured him in his chest. Then Kaneki started calling Touka’s name again and again. When the members of Oggai sees Kaneki, all of them attacks him together and he lost his hand and legs.
Because of that Kaneki lost his consciousness and entered his subconscious mind where Kaneki’s differ incarnation says if his head is attached and he can crawl, he should move forward Just like a centipede. Then Kaneki gets back his conscious and attacks the members of Oggai. He kills them in one attack while repeatedly calling Touka’s name. After killing them when he stabs the ground with his Quinque, Centipede like giant Kagunes vigorously rising from the ground.

While Centipede like giant Kagunes are rising all over the city, Nimura gets his conscious back and says to everyone that he fulfilled his target. Then everyone sees a giant centipede-like Kagune is rising from the ground. Nimura laughs freakishly laugh and says may Kaneki eat every part of his body……..
